Human Resources

Human Resources has one full time employee who is under the direction of the City Manager. The Human Resources Director also serves as Administrative Assistant to the City Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, federal and state employment laws
  • Providing guidance and direction to management and employees in all human resources functions
  • Supporting the goals and key objectives of the City Council and city manager to fulfill the city’s workplace needs as economic conditions continue to change
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with all city departments, outside organizations and the general public
