Human Resources has one full time employee who is under the direction of the City Manager. The Human Resources Director also serves as Administrative Assistant to the City Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, federal and state employment laws
- Providing guidance and direction to management and employees in all human resources functions
- Supporting the goals and key objectives of the City Council and city manager to fulfill the city’s workplace needs as economic conditions continue to change
- Maintaining effective working relationships with all city departments, outside organizations and the general public
