Water Technologies, Inc, the Swim Pool Consultants that have been hired by the City of Sidney to conduct a feasibility study regarding updating or replacing the Sidney Swimming Pool, will be leading a series of public meetings beginning on Tuesday, February 19.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend one of the three sessions. Water Technologies, Inc. will incorporate the information that they have gathered to date, including the information received from their initial visit last month. The first session is February 19 at 6:30pm at City Hall. The second of the three sessions is Wednesday, February 20 at 1pm at the Cheyenne County Community Center. This session is geared towards competitive swimmers and fitness groups however, the general public is also welcome to attend, and the final session is Wednesday, February 20 at 6:30pm during the City Council meeting.
The City of Sidney and Water Technologies, Inc. stress the importance of citizen involvement. Gary Person, Sidney City Manager states, “This is a great opportunity for the public to be a part of the planning process, to be able to voice opinions, and to keep up on where the planning is to date.”
