On Monday, August 13th, the NDOR will be switching traffic onto the newly reconstructed southbound lanes of L-17-J. The northbound lanes will be closed to traffic as they will be removed and reconstructed.
During the reconstruction of the northbound lanes, the intersection will remain open to all traffic. However, in order to keep the intersection open during the construction, the intersection will be narrowed for east and west bound traffic on Old Post Road. Normal access to all businesses on the east side of the intersection will be maintained during this construction.
The traveling public is asked to slow down and proceed with caution through the work zone for the safety of the public as well as the construction crews. As a reminder, fines are doubled in this work zone for speeding.
