On Wednesday, September 3, contractors will begin work on the final phase of the project. This phase of construction will require the closure of both the Newton and Osage Intersections.
Traffic will be detoured to 13th Avenue using Pine Street to access that part of Sidney north of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad tracks. The 10th Avenue intersections at Jackson, Linden, and Maple are open to traffic as well as 10th Avenue between Illinois and Jackson and between Linden, and Maple. The section of 10th Avenue between Jackson and King is still closed with paving scheduled to begin this week.
Access to Sidney Regional Medical Center will be maintained at all times using Pine Street.
